What this notice covers
This notice covers thebharatshields.com and any subdomains operated by the BharatShields programme. It describes the personal information we collect through the website and through direct correspondence, and how we handle it.
What we collect
- Contact correspondence. If you email us or use a contact form, we keep your name, organisation, email address, and the contents of your message for as long as we're working with you, and for up to 24 months after.
- Server logs. Our hosting keeps standard access logs (IP, user agent, page, timestamp) for up to 30 days for security and debugging.
- No analytics by default. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers on the marketing site at this time. If we add privacy-respecting analytics later, this notice will be updated and a banner shown before any new tracking starts.
What we don't do
- We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.
- We do not embed third-party advertising trackers.
- We do not collect children's data — the site is not directed at children.
- We do not handle patient data on this website. (Pilot programmes that touch patient data run on partner-operated infrastructure with their own policies.)
Where the data sits
The marketing site is hosted in the Asia-Pacific region. Email correspondence is processed through standard mail services that may route through other regions in transit.
Your rights
You can ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted, by emailing privacy@thebharatshields.com. We respond within 30 days.
Changes
We update this notice when our practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change.
